Court sets $200k bond for Webb, removes license
Indicted by a grand jury on Monday, Elias Steven Webb, the driver of the Dodge Durango that killed Rover Road bicyclist Lanie Kruszewski, appeared in Richmond Circuit Court today. His charge is a felony hit-and-run for leaving the scene of an accident where a person was killed or injured, and carries up to a 10-year sentence.
Circuit judge Margaret Spencer set bond at $200,000 and ordered Webb to surrender his driver’s license and passport.
His next hearing is scheduled for August 20.
