Reader Question: Why are the Streetlights out on Westmorland

A Near West End reader wants to know:

Have you heard of any reason why the streetlights on Westmoreland between Cary and Grove are still out?  They went off with all the other streetlights during Irene, but that was over a month ago and we still have no light at night.  It makes the street extremely dark.  It seems like a power line went down on the Cary side of the park during the storm (you can see it rolled up and tied with caution tape). I don’t know if that’s the problem or if it’s something else. Thanks!
