Councilman Bruce W. Tyler to hold meeting in West End 1st District to Discuss Real Estate Taxes

The City of Richmond’s Near West End residents are invited to attend a meeting held by Richmond City Councilman Bruce W. Tyler, at Mary Munford Elementary School on
Tuesday, September 28, 2010; 6:30 p.m -8 p.m. This meeting will address changes being made to the Real Estate tax assessment and will feature information on:

  • New Richmond Real Estate Tax Payment Schedule
  • Public Safety Report on the West End 1st District from the Richmond Police Department 3rd Precinct

    • Beginning Calendar Year 2011, our Richmond Real Estate Taxes will be divided into two collections per year instead of all at once. Half payments will be due January 14, 2011 and June 14, 2011. The Richmond Department of Finance will be on hand to discuss.
