Neighbors Advocate for Bike Path in Near West End
University Heights neighbors are joining together to try to get a bike path or walkway put in on Forest Avenue. Sounds like a fabulous idea to me! If you want to help support the effort, make sure you show up for the meeting on March 16th, 7 pm at Tuckahoe Elementary School.

strong showing so that our project will not get pushed back in budget cuts….We have been contacted by the Department of Public Works to DISCUSS the sidewalk/bike path concept on Forest in a public meeting. Topics at the meeting will include: where to begin the sidewalks, whether to include a bike lane etc….
The Sidewalk Concepts Meeting will be on Monday, March 16th at 7 pm at Tuckahoe Elementary School. In attendance will be Ms. PatriciaO’Bannon, Tuckahoe Supervisor, and representatives from the Department of Public Works.
