Thinking about  the IB program for your Henrico middle schooler or high schooler?  The good news is Henrico is expanding the program to 3 middle schools and 2 high schools. The best news of all? They are considering expanding the IB program to Tuckahoe Middle School!  Make your voice heard that this is something we want in the Near West End — it is a great program.

The proposal being considered by the School Board on October 30 is to add a Middle Years IB Program at Tuckahoe and Fairfield Middle Schools. The proposal also recommends adding an IB Program at Tucker High School. As a result of approving the proposal, the school division could serve twice as many middle school and high school students in the IB program than are currently being served.  The programs would be phased in beginning with the 6th and 9th grades in 2010-2011.
 
Please review the documents on this website and provide comments to the School Board about the proposal to expand the IB programs in Henrico County Public Schools.  You can ask questions or provide comments to the people listed below.  All comments and questions will be compiled and shared with the School Board members as they consider the recommendation.
