Knitting trip leaves from Near West End:

 River City Knitters is hosting a bus trip to Baltimore on Saturday, November 8. The charter bus still has some room – so, if anyone would like to attend Stiches East and you want to come along, please drop me an email. I will direct you to the person coordinating the trip. We will be leaving the Park N Ride on Parham Road @ Fordson (west end Richmond) at 7:00 a.m. and returning to the lot at 9:00 pm. The bus ride is $30 (can’t beat that deal with gas prices like they are!); the fee does NOT include Stitches tickets, etc., but you can purchase your ticket online at the Stitches website above.

On top of that, did you know that the River City Knitters meet at the Tuckahoe Library? I mean I had no idea I could learn how to knit two socks on one circular needle. If you want to learn how, Oct. 25th is the date. Click here for details and look on the right hand sidebar.
