Sticks Kabob Shop Opens Near Willow Lawn

Bookmark and Share

River City Food & Wine gave the new Sticks Kabob Shop at Willow Lawn a so-so review. The concept sounds neat to me, but it looks like the meat is what folks get excited about, here (and I don’t eat meat).   Based on the review, I’m not sure if I need to rush to try it out.   On the other hand, if someone tells me thier falafel is great, perhaps I’ll reconsider.

The falafel is okay. Not great. Like pjpink said, everything is pretty much overwelmed by the sauces.

Melissa Ruggieri gave it a good review in the RTD today . . . don’t they at least have a tofu option?

Sorry guys and gals but going to a kabob house and expecting good non-meat options, especially that famous Middle Eastern tofu, is like going to a vegan place and expecting a great steak or fried chicken.

My family LOVES Sticks–a fresh alternative to fast food, sort of like Chipotle for kabobs with local artwork on the walls to boot.
