One of the things I love most about Richmond is how it is so small. Not so small that everyone knows your business, but just small enough that if you are at an event, say the Folk Festival, that you might run into someone who you haven’t seen in, oh about 15 years.
And it might actually be one of the few people in the world who knew both you and your husband before you and your husband new each other.
Anyway, running into this old friend, I learned about a neat new arts website, they are running called, Poplular Ink. Poplular Ink is looking for submission — art, video, poetry, music, fiction and non-fiction.
The witty website even offers you a handy red button, just press it when you are ready to submit all that creative hard work.
And, in the mean time, remember, It does matter what you wear to Ukrop’s — because you will definitely run into someone that you know.
