For Those Who Enjoy Kroger Potato Salad

I’m sure there are a few living in the Near West End that eat Kroger potato salad (myself excluded) so I thought this might be a worthy mention. :)

The Kroger Co. has withdrawn Kroger brand Mustard and Southern-Style potato salad with a “Best If Used By” date of Sept. 5, 2007, from its stores because it may contain E. coli.

To date, no illnesses have been reported.

The voluntary product recall was undertaken as a precautionary measure. A Kroger spokesman said he did not know how many stores in Virginia stocked the product.

Customers should return the potato salad to a store for a full refund. Questions, call (866) 221-4141.
