Before & After School registration
2 Comments »If you’re looking for activities for your kids to do before and/or after school, check out Richmond Public Schools Before & After programs. Registration takes place Sept. 4th through the 7th from close of school to 5:45pm each day.
Richmond.com has more info:
The department offers the programs for children enrolled in kindergarten through fifth grade at 19 city elementary schools.
The registration fee is $5 for the entire school year and includes a free “It Starts in Parks” T-shirt for each student.
The programs focus on academics as well as life skills and character development, and the children work on reading, math and homework every day except Fridays. Recreation activities and some field trips are also included.
All of the department’s Before and After School programs are licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services.
For more information on the programs call (804) 646-6067.

Hello Monique. I would suggest checking out the yellow pages for daycare services for your respective area. If that’s not an option, perhaps contact the elementary schools and see if they have any ideas. Hope this helps.
