R Braves in Playoffs, Discounted Tickets
Comment now »Fellow blogger, Jon Baliles, over at River City Rapids is a baseball nut — and I mean that in a good way. He has provided this post for all you R Braves fans out there who love a heated game and a good deal. Follow the link for your half price coupon.
The Braves have only been in the playoffs once since 1995 (Int’l League Runner Up in 2004) and there are few things as exciting as a crowded stadium that explodes into bedlam at the crack of a bat to plate the tying run, the grunt of a strikeout in the late innings with an opposing runner on base, or the pitch of anticipation as the fans rise to their feet as the ball rockets toward the outfield fence and the home team takes the lead.
Every game this week will have that kind of drama, especially when Durham comes to town Wednesday and Thursday. The Bulls are currently 1.5 games ahead of the Braves in the division and the local team needs all the support we can muster in those contests.
The Braves’ lead for the only wild card post is a half game over Buffalo and one game over Rochester. This one is going down to the last day and the tension and excitement are there for the taking.
The Braves are offering 1/2 price press box level seats (the silver seats at the bottom of the upper deck) all week, so you can grab a prime seat for only $4.
Remaining games:
Tue v. Charlotte – 7pm
Wed & Thur. v. Durham – both days at 7pm
Sun & Mon v. Norfolk – both days at 2pm
